Today’s Flight Plan
Very simple episode today. I’m packing to go to Osh Kosh, so time is super limited! Osh Kosh is where the annual EAA Airventure is held. 500K plus people get together, and nerd out on all things aviation. This is just a short message to tell you what I’m up to.
Also, if you’re going to Airventure, please write me at me@aviatorcast.com. I’d love to meet up with you and chat!

Chris: This is AviatorCast episode 28! Standby one.
Calling all aviators, pilots and aviation lovers, welcome to AviatorCast, where we close the gap between real aviation and flight simulation. Climb aboard, buckle up and prepare for takeoff. Here’s your host, Chris Palmer!
Chris: Welcome, welcome, welcome aviators, you’ve landed at AviatorCast! My name is Chris Palmer. Although aviation is my profession, it is certainly still my passion. I feel like a little kid still, all giddy when I get the chance to go to an air show or the like. I’m the founder and owner of Angle of Attack, a flight simulation training company which is bringing you this podcast today.
AviatorCast is a weekly podcast where we talk about the spirit of the aviator. We believe flying is an art form, one that we have to continually practice and master. This mastery is gained through a focus on continual learning, human factors, humility, and the commitment to excellence. Show notes, transcript, community discussion and links for this episode can be found by simply going to AviatorCast.com.
So welcome to this, the 28th episode of AviatorCast. This is actually going to be just a very short message for you today because I am packing my bags to go to Osh Kosh 2014. I’ll be leaving in just a few hours here and I’ll be going with one of our managers here in Angle of Attack and we’ll be enjoying our time there getting to know people, and hopefully getting to know you.
So if you are also going to Osh Kosh, I’d really, really love for you to send me an email and let me know who you are and when you’d like to meet up. My email is me@aviatorcast.com. Basically what I’d like you to do is I’d like you to email me and then I will be giving out some free t-shirts that you can come and you can pick up. That way, you and I can meet up. We can maybe have lunch together, we can talk about some of your challenges maybe, some of the things that you love, maybe we can watch an airshow together and they can be really great and a fun time.
Because I’m so busy getting ready for Osh Kosh, we’re not going to have a full episode today. I thought I just get together with you guys and let you know what’s going on. I’m looking forward to an episode next week. Now, I apologize ahead of time with the audio quality because it’s likely that I’m going to be doing that episode recording it with my iPhone or something to that effect so it won’t sound as good as this golden mic here, but it will be a great time. I will have a lot to share and I’ll be really excited about all the things I’m seeing in Osh Kosh so I really can’t wait for that to come.
But for now, I would just like to basically tell you where I am and what I’m doing and that some great things are coming. Summer is really busy here where I am, in Alaska, and my brother has just visited here and I’ve been running around like crazy. Soon summer will be ending and it will be time to get to the full full brunt of AviatorCast and that’s where we’re at.
So if you’re going to Osh Kosh, please, please write me. I’d really appreciate it.
And that is it for this episode of AviatorCast. Thank you so much for joining us on and every episode. It really is a pleasure to have you here. I just really enjoy this podcast and each and every week I can’t miss it even if it’s just to get on and give you guys a few words about what’s up and what’s next.
So that’s it. Until next time, throttle on!
